Okay, is this weird...I sorta have the hots for Thomas Jefferson. There is just something so appealing about him in the series...I'm a sicko...I'm lusting after one of our founding fathers!!

Have you read the book John Adams by David McCullough? It is on my 'must read this summer' list. My husband bought it, he is a history geek, and said it is one of the best he has read in a long time.

He was so touched by the love affair McCullough describes between Adams and his wife Abigail...it was tender.... I love you

I have the book, I just haven't had a chance to read it yet. (I'm a history geek too Very Happy ) Anyway, the movie depicts the love affair beautifully especially in the finale last night, it was really good.

I definitely want to read the book. Okay, confession time, John Adams went from a rockstar in my eyes to a whiney, overly sensitive, insecure, stubborn mule. Ugg. I kinda feel bad for him. Anyway, I have not watched the final episode yet. And yes, he and his wife have an amazing relationship. He really depends on her and values her opinion. It seems a woman had a bit of influence when this country was formed!!

Bite-me, I totally agree and said basically the same thing to DH last night. He seems like a really negative, whiney, no one likes me, every body hates me, I guess I'll go eat worms, kind of guy by the end. But the movie rocked!!
