Monday my daughter came home from school and this is our conversation.

"Hiya Roo, how was your day?"
"Great, Mom!"
"Really? How did your testing go for you?"

(Expression of pure awe and confusion...) "MOM! How did you know we were testing all week???"

"Ummm.... I TEACH at an elementary school darlin'. They are all doing it in this district this week!"

"Oh, yeah. Well, it went great! My teacher looked over my shoulder during testing and said, 'Ruby, you are doing GREAT!'"

"Oh sweetie, I am so glad it went well! I am just so proud of you!"

"Yeah, it made me realize I am as smart as I THOUGHT I was!"


OH MY GOODNESS! I laughed and laughed about that one.

I love that!!! My oldest is a little smartie pants too, and he just cracks me up
with his "knowledge" of his knowledge.

Hah! That is freaking hilarious!!
